I'd like to issue a general invitation not only to members of the APLA
Collections Development Interest Group, but also to any who may be
interested in joining the group, to meet with us on Friday, May 27th at
Cheelin's for dinner and stimulating conversation. Cheelin's is very
close to the Westin. You'll find directions (and the menu!) on their
home page: Please let me know by
Wednesday evening if you would like to come so that I can confirm our
number with Cheelin's.

But there's more! One of the objectives of the evening is to discuss
suggestions for collections topics for APLA 2006 and choose the best
suggestion. (Yes, there is a prize!). Suggestions for next year's
collections session must be sent by the end of the day on Wednesday, May
25th either to [log in to unmask] (to gather support) or to me.
All suggestions received by this date will be compiled for perusal and
discussion over dinner. And you don't need to be able to attend the
dinner to send in your suggestion (or to win the prize.)

I'll look forward to seeing you there. The Collections Dinner is always
a good time!
