OLA Audio Conference: Power of the Brand: It's Yours to Use @ your libraryŽ

Join us at the Nova Scotia Provincial Library for this practical sixty minute audio conference which will inspire you to use the @ your libraryŽ brand throughout your library and community.  You will learn about the advantages of using the brand, how easy it is to use and how universal it is.  Examples of creative uses of the brand so far will be provided as well as an update on the Ontario Library Associations's plans for the brand that will help you in your own planning and marketing/advocacy issues.

Library staff especially those involved in marketing and programming, trustees, volunteers and library supporters of all types of libraries.

How to use the brand including parameters set by ALA
Practical applications of the brand to a variety of situations
Components of a brand
Do's and don'ts of brand use
How to build awareness of the brand
OLA's commitment to members and where we are

Participants will -
Become comfortable in explaining the brand and using it
Receive a list of ideas to use the brand plus a top ten list of uses that are NOT recommended
Be directed to a host of helpful sites
Get tips on presenting the power of the brand to non-library constituents
