Dear Colleagues,

Digital Collections, eBooks, ILL

Here's a real time-saver to learn about service enhancements from the
OCLC Canada cooperative over the web, at your desk. Each session
includes a live presentation, available at no cost, which you access via
the web from the Microsoft Live Meeting web site. All that is needed to
attend is a computer with internet access and a phone for audio access
via a conference call.

2. NetLibrary

Join us for an introduction to OCLC NetLibrary and its collection of
more than 75,000 eBooks titles from more than 460 publishers. NetLibrary
eBooks can be accessed via the Web - either straight from your OPAC or
through WorldCat on OCLC FirstSearch. Content covers most disciplines
and  includes IT, computers, business and management, consumer health,
medical, soon audiobooks and more. Whether you are just starting a
collection, or need to enhance your existing resources, NetLibrary
offers a range of services and online resources to help integrate
eContent into your library's workflow.

3. ILL Staff View in FirstSearch

OCLC is moving its resource sharing to the FirstSearch platform so that
ILL staff can take advantage of many features available in FirstSearch
that are currently not available through OCLC ILL. These include:
improved searching options, visible local fulfillment options such a
slinks to local catalogs and improved visibility of serials holding
statements. This session will focus on the FirstSearch features
available to ILL staff.
