Join us at the Nova Scotia Provincial Library for the OLA Audio
Conference "Serving Seniors". Instructors are Rosemary Honnold and
Saralyn Mesaros, Coshocton Public Library, Coshocton, Ohio. Statistics
show that the senior population will triple in the next decade as the
Baby Boom generation edges its way into retirement. "Serving Seniors: a
How-To-Do-It Manual for Librarians" is a practical guide for
establishing and expanding library service to this senior audience. The
authors, RoseMary Honnold and Saralyn Mesaros, will offer tips on
developing a comprehensive senior plan and many tested program ideas.
This 60 minute audio session will be useful for libraries that want to
serve their Baby Boomer and older senior adult patrons.
