Access is an annual Canadian conference, focusing on current and potential applications of technology for libraries.  The conference also includes the infamous Hackfest (http://library.acadiau.ca/access2004/hackfest.html) - a gathering of people from various backgrounds who collaboratively try to come up with technological solutions to current problems encountered by library staff and/or users.
