Workshop: STN Databases - Hands-on Workshop

Description: The Halifax Library Association, in cooperation with CISTI
NIC Halifax, will be hosting a two-day hands on training session with
STN trainer John Zabilski. STN International is an online scientific and
technical information service offering a complete collection of in-depth
databases in science and technology including literature, patents, and
chemical catalogues. STN covers topics such as agriculture, biology,
biotechnology, chemistry, toxicology, medicine, patents and more!
STN is operated by Chemical Abstracts Service (CAS), a division of the
American Chemical Society, in North America. Day 1 - Basic Training; Day
2-What's New, Citation Searching, Current Awareness, Property Searching.
Registration: Participation in the event is limited to HLA members.
Seating is limited to the first 12 interested participants. People may
