Celebrating our Community: Sharing Our Values, Sharing Our Value is the
theme for the 2004 Joint Conference of the Canadian Library Association
(CLA) and British Columbia Library Association (BCLA) in beautiful
Victoria, British Columbia, June 16-19, 2004.
Call for Programs
Any person or group, including interest groups, committees, private
sector and divisions, may propose sessions to the Program Committee.
These "program creators" will identify the topic, the target audience,
the learning experience being offered, the time needed, the speakers,
instructors or panelists, and the preferred format. The CLA/BCLA 2004
Conference will offer three learning formats:
* Traditional live presentations at 60 to 90 minutes ("program
sessions")
* Pre-conference live workshops of 4 to 7 hours ("pre-cons")
* Poster presentations: a combination of display boards and
one-on-one discussions at set times ("posters")
