Hello:
As a members of the APLA Computers & Connectivity group, I have
been asked to investigate a possible topic for the next APLA
conference.
The question is: Are there Atlantic provinces libraries that are
buying blocks of PDA downloads for your users?
More specifically, how do libraries budget for PDA downloads: Most
publishers sell blocks of, say, 200 downloads. If you have a user
population of 10,000 how do you handle the budget implications of having to
add more, but not knowing how many?
And, how do you handle the setup of docking stations so that
people can download to their private pda?
Thanks for your help.
