In case you missed it, check out the October 18, Globe and Mail article on p. L1, L5. Don't let the title "Glove affair" throw you off. Rather see the secondary title on L5, "Gloves suit the season's sexy librarian looks." Sorry guys, this is about sexy female librarians. If anyone knows what "librarian blouse and skirt ensembles" are, please post it to the listserv. Whatever they are, they are the "cat's pajamas" this season - that expression seems old even to me!
