CAPL Conference Bursary

$500 TOWARDS CLA 2003 CONFERENCE

You are eligible if:

• you have received an MLS degree within the last seven years;
• you are a personal member in good standing of CAPL;
• you need financial assistance to attend the CLA conference.

Successful candidates will be asked to contribute an article detailing their conference experience to the CAPL newsletter. Please note that consideration will be given to the distance of the applicant's place of residence from the conference site.

CAPL Advanced Study Bursary

$1,000 FOR TRAINING IN AN AREA APPLICABLE TO ADVANCEMENT IN THE LIBRARY FIELD

You are eligible if:

• You are a personal member in good standing of CAPL;
• You have a minimum of seven years of professional experience.

This bursary is not intended for workshops or conferences. In your application, please demonstrate how the proposed course of study will better equip you to contribute to the library profession.
