In 1928, 30 ambitious young women entered the world of librarianship as the
first students of the Library School at the Ontario College of Education.
They were experts in book selection and ordering, bookmaking, library
history, cataloguing and classification. The Library School has undergone
many transformations since 1928-29. On February 8th, 2003, we will be
celebrating the 75th anniversary of what is currently one of the top
information management faculties in North America.

Join us as we kick-off a year of celebrations!
The 75th Anniversary Gala will be held from 2 to 5 pm at the Faculty of
Information Studies, 140 St. George Street.

Some highlights of the afternoon will be:
- An official cake cutting ceremony
- Welcome speech by the Dean

- Tours of the Faculty and Inforum

I don't think that I can help you with this as I don't have e-mail
addresses for ExLibris members. HOWEVER, I am the listserv master for the
APLA-list and would be glad to post a message on it. Just prepare
something and e-mail it to me.
