Please post to list. Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis. Assistant professor, tenure track, beginning August 2003. Salary: $36,000 - $40,000. Ph.D. in hand or by August 2003. The department seeks someone with sufficient expertise and interest in bioethics to co-direct and teach in its proposed new master's program, one track of which is bioethics. (The other is American philosophy.) AOC open. (Social philosophy is one of the areas of interest.) Excellence in teaching and a commitment to scholarly research are essential. Teaching load: 5 courses per year, assuming an active research program. Some service expected in addition to service as co-director.
