{ SEQ CHAPTER \h \r 1}With the resignation of Marnie MacGillivray as Treasurer of
APLA, it was necessary to find a replacement. The APLA
Executive is pleased to announce that Denise Corey-Fancy of
Mount Saint Vincent University Library has agreed to complete
Marnie's term as treasurer.
An email vote of the Executive was taken on November 1, 2002
to confirm the appointment of Denise Corey-Fancy as pro tem
Treasurer of the Atlantic Provinces Library Association and as a
signing officer of the Association.
Two motions were put to the Executive of the Association.
They were as follows:
It is moved that the executive of the Atlantic Provinces
Library Association appoint Denise Corey-Fancy as pro tem
Treasurer, to be effective on the resignation of the
incumbent treasurer November 15, 2002, and serving until
the next Ordinary General Meeting in May 2003.

It is moved that Denise Corey-Fancy replace Marnie
MacGillivray as a signing officer of the Atlantic Provinces
Library Association effective November 15, 2002.
