Yes, it has been quiet on the PEI after-the-conference-finally-picking-ourselves-up-off-the floor front. We hope everyone arrived safely back home invigorated, enthused, with new contacts and ideas, wonderful stuff from the exhibitors, your collectors' item of an empty Seaman's bottle of pop, or at the very least with a new Cows t-shirt or just darn good memories. For those interested, we are planning another weekend of fun beginning tonight and going until Sunday afternoon but we thought this time we would just do the eating, drinking, laughing and telling stories, winning prizes, and dancing parts. We will be sending buses and planes to pick you all up in the next few hours. Oh and we will get the next week off work in lieu of this... okay, okay, this is definitely a fantasy... So back to reality, the actual conference may be over but the conference web site lives on! You will find the keynote and a few other presentations there. Any speakers, that haven't already done so, please consider passing along your presentation whether it be on PowerPoint or the text or notes from a talk, to Donald Moses of Holland College ([log in to unmask] ) who will put it up on the site. This is such valuable material for those that couldn't get to all the sessions, for those planning future conferences, for anyone interested in any of these topics etc. etc. Visit the web site and see the Presentations section to view those which have been made available. http://www.upei.ca/~apla/ Sharon Clark Yet again for APLA 2001 ***************************************** Sharon Clark, Cataloguing Librarian Robertson Library, UPEI. 550 University Ave. Charlottetown C1A 4P3 [log in to unmask] 902-566-0581 Fax 902-628-4305 *******************************************
