University of Newfoundland, offering four-year bachelor's degrees in arts
(English, environmental studies, historical studies, humanities,

and nursing.

The college is located in the city of Corner Brook on Newfoundland's west
coast. Corner Brook (population 22,000) is a very safe, friendly city
with excellent recreational and cultural facilities, and overlooks the Bay
of Islands, affording a spectacular view of the Blomidon Mountains. The
city is situated some 80 kilometres from Gros Morne National Park and 10
kilometres from the Marble Mountain downhill ski resort.

The successful applicant will help to provide information and
bibliographic aid to partons of the Library. The reference desk assists
students, faculty, staff and the general public with over 3,000 reference
queries annually. As well, the Library's professional staff conduct
classes in library research, mediate online searches, and maintain a
collection of some 90,000 volumes.
