Maybe it's too old to be useful to you, but I published an article entitled  "Sex-Role Stereotypes in Medicine" in Hypatia in 1987, vol. 2, pp. 21-38, and Ch. 2 of my book Women and Children in Health Care: An Unequal Majority (1996) is based on this article.  The anthologies edited by Susan Wolf (Feminism and Bioethics, 1995) and the more recent one by Laura Purdy and Anne Donchin (don't have it with me, but I think the title is Embodying Bioethics) might also be helpful.
    Good luck!

Subject: sexism

I am looking for articles dealing with sexism within the medical profession. Can anybody think of any papers on this issue offhand?  I will do a search,  but I was wondering if anybody remembered any good articles or chapters.

Thanks,
