The Department of English and Theatre at Acadia University is pleased to announce:
[cid:0DEAEE14-B3F2-4FDA-A08C-BC91E32FD27B]
The objective of this symposium is to open up conversations on the relations among peoples and places: children, adolescents, adults, schools, libraries, universities, and publishing houses concerning the full range of books that depict childhood/youth and place in Atlantic Canadian Literature.
This year, the symposium includes the Acadia Art Gallery exhibition "Image. Word. Design: Exploring Picture Book Illustration in Atlantic Canada," which will run July 9th - August 23rd, and invites viewers to explore the process of design and the relationship between word and image at various stages of book production.
Both of these events are made possible by the Thomas H. Raddall Symposium Fund.
