Impact of Research on Practice for Canadian Academic Librarians

Call for Interview Participation


Dear Colleagues,

I am a librarian at Queen's University studying the impact of
conducting research on our professional practice. I am inviting
Canadian colleagues from university and college libraries and who have
completed a sabbatical/academic leave in the past 5 years (i.e.
2008-2013) to participate in an interview with me about your experience.

This study will investigate what effect(s) the act of conducting
research has on our professional practice. What do we gain
individually and collectively by being research-practitioners?

Interviews will take place over the next 2-3 months by phone/skype,
will be recorded and should last 30-60 minutes. Please indicate your
