I had such a strong response from my recent sessions at the BCLA conference that I felt the need to summarize some aspects of that experience in my blog. I will also be presenting at the CLA conference at the end of the month on this subject, although it will be tailored to a different audience.

While many of struggle with some very immediate pressures, I think it is critical that we discuss the issue of education in our field with more depth, in order to prepare ourselves for the challenges that lie ahead. Feel free to share your comments and ideas - it is all about open discussion!
