St. Francis Xavier University invites applications from qualified candidates for a limited term (8 month) librarian position in theAngus L. Macdonald Library, at the rank of Librarian I.  Position is subject to budgetary approval.

DESCRIPTION: Reporting to the University Librarian, the successful applicant participates in reference and instruction services to students and faculty, and performs collection development and liaison activities in assigned subject areas.  Some scheduled evening and weekend work are required.  Performs other duties as assigned.   The successful applicant will be expected to be conversant with and participate in, emerging services and technologies.
