I am the new Convener for APLA's Computers and Connectivity Interest Group. I
would like to take this opportunity to connect with existing members and invite
new members to the group.
The Computers and Connectivity Interest Group provides a forum for discussions
and exchange of ideas on issues related to microcomputers and related
technologies, promotes professional development through workshops and other
activities of interests, and facilitates networking with APLA members and the

Some background about me: I moved to Halifax from Vancouver with my family at
the end of December. I have been a professional librarian for 10 years and was
the Educational Technology Librarian at Douglas College which has two campuses
in New Westminster and Coquitlam, BC.
