*Closing soon: Postgraduate Scholarship on the Role of Values, Ethics
and Evidence in Obesity Intervention*

This scholarship is funded by an NHMRC Project grant. It provides
support for 3 years on a full-time basis for a research project leading
to a PhD. The successful candidate will be enrolled through the Centre
for Values, Ethics and the Law in Medicine in the Faculty of Medicine.
The research project will employ ethnographic and grounded theory
methodologies to investigate the role of values, ethics and evidence in
population-level interventions in overweight and obesity. It involves
extensive fieldwork in 2010 in metropolitan Sydney, and a 6 week period
of fieldwork in the Northern Rivers in 2011.
