The registration deadline for the Collections 2009 pre-conference has 
been extended to *Friday, May 1.* 
 
Please register online at the CLA/ACB 2009 conference site, 
http://www.cla.ca/conference/2009/, or send in the form at 
http://www.cla.ca/conference/2009/documents/PreConRegForm2009R2.pdf. 
 Look for pre-conference session P8.
 
Pre-conference rates (unchanged since 2004) are:
 
CDMIG members: $80
CLA members: $100 (non-members of CDMIG)
non-CLA members: $125
 
Registration includes a morning coffee break (kindly sponsored by 
Midwest Library Services), an afternoon coffee break (kindly sponsored 
by Coutts Information Services), and lunch.

"E-books, licences and copyright" -- Rob Tiessen, University of Calgary
 
"Dreaming big, going bold: creating a "shovel-ready" e-book collection

  In addition, the CLA/YBP Award for Outstanding Contribution to
  Collection Development and Management will be presented at Collections
  2009.
