I received this too when I initially registered for the conference but to
the best of my knowledge my charge card hasn't been charged yet. I had
tried first to make my own hotel reservation but nothing was available.
Apparently, the conference organizers blocked all the rooms. I've never
been to another conference before where you couldn't tell the hotel the name
of the organization and then make your own reservation. Anne
