Many of you may be interested to know that Bill Drew has created a "Library 2.0"
social network using a website called "Ning."
http://library20.ning.com
Ning is a website that lets you invite people to create their own MySpace-like
pages. The result is a fun, collaborative and extremely helpful networking
tool.
Already the network is a "Who's who" of the Library 2.0 world and, even better,
some Atlantic Canadian librarians are among the earliest of early adoptors for
this network.
Continuing this theme, I started an "Atlantic Librarians" network on Ning as
well.
http://atlibrarians.ning.com
I thought librarians in Atlantic Canada would like to opportunity to collaborate
with others, increase network contacts, share success stories, and well, have
lots of fun doing it!
And if you don't really want to join, that's fine too -- there's still lots to
gain from reading what people write and discuss!
Sincerely,
Ryan Deschamps
