Best in Show: Designing Effective Screencasts
with Diane Clark - 1 hour WEBCAST
Recently, I overheard a conversation about how simple it has become to develop screencasts to teach learners about resources. This may very well be true - it may also be true that if you place a computer in a room full of monkeys and let them type for eternity eventually they will come up with the complete works of Shakespeare. If you want to use screencasts as a way to engage and teach your learners then it's important to apply effective instructional design strategies and not to randomly develop objects. This Webcast will provide participants with the tools necessary to develop screencasts or other multimedia elements that exemplify best practices in instructional design.
