What is a Webcast?
This is an expanded version of our popular audio conferences. You will
need a computer and the ability to get on the internet... and a
telephone. That is it. No special hardware; no special software. You
will be given an address on the Web at which you will sign in with a
password that will be given to you in your registration confirmation.
You will be able to see the presenter's desktop and see what he or she
is doing as you watch. Like all audio conferences, there is no limit on
the number of people that might be around the phone at each location.
The limitation will be in how many people can comfortably see the
computer. If you have a data projector, there is probably no limit.

About the presenter.....
Michael Sauers lives in Aurora, Colorado and is the Internet Trainer
for BCR's Member Services Division, which has him traveling constantly
throughout the country. He is on the Board of Trustees for the Aurora
Public Library and on the board of the Friends of the Aurora Public
Library as their bookstore manager, publicist, and Webmaster. Prior to
moving to Colorado in 1997 he was an independent consultant and trainer
in Las Vegas, NV. He has also worked for both the New York State Library
and the New York State Assembly. He earned his MLS from the University
at Albany's School of Information Science and Policy in 1995, and a BS
in American Studies from SUNY Brockport. Michael is the author of seven
previous books on technology for librarians and has written dozens of
articles for various journals and magazines. In his spare time he reads
about 130 books per year.
