The Nova Scotia Provincial Library is pleased to announce the
appointment of Denise Parrott to the position of Research and Planning
Librarian, effective September 25, 2006. Denise is a graduate of the
Dalhouse School of Information Management and Memorial University of
Newfoundland. She has 17 years experience working in public libraries
in Nova Scotia, including the Halifax County Regional Library and
Halifax Public Libraries, in children's services, technical services,
and branch management. Denise is a member of APLA and NSLA.
