Dear all,

The deadline for abstracts for the 2006 FAB congress has been extended 
to 30 April. The website for abstract submission is artsocs.uow.edu.au
A number of people have had difficulty submitting abstracts, I am 
willing to submit abstracts if all the relevant information is sent to 
me before the deadline.
If you wish to submit directly, here are three hints:
1. the Department and University affiliation field can only handle 
about 100 characters (so abbreviate Department to Dept, University to 
Uni or U, etc)
2. the program has difficulty with accents, curly quotation marks, 
unusual characters: it prefers "plain text sumission" (one way to do 
this is to say a Word document as "text only" and then reopen that 
document within a program like text edit and cut and paste from that).
3. Send me  [log in to unmask] the information and I'll submit it-- you 
will have a chance to check and change what I've entered before it is 
printed.

We're hoping to see as many FAB members as possible in Beijing!
