targeted for museums, it can be applicable for any artifact.

For those embarking on a digitization project, and especially for those
on the Passage Project, this workshop will give you answers for those
questions you ask, “Why digitize? What does it involve? What are the
costs? What lessons have others learned? Where do I begin to digitize
Dianne Bowden, CHIN, will present a full-day workshop to answer
your questions and more on digitization. You will also learn to:
v Determine your digitizing options
v Consider different uses for images
v Assess the implications for future cataloguing.
Each participating site will receive a digitization kit of
background fabric in two colours and a measuring scale. (Value:
$40.00)> Space is limited to 20 participants so register early! Only
one registrant per site will be initially accepted If there is space at
the time of the registration deadline, we will then allow more than one
person from each site.
