Nominations are sought for the APLA Merit Award.

This award honours an individual who has made an outstanding
contribution to library service in the Atlantic Provinces.  If you know
of someone who has made an outstanding contribution to the library
community, please consider nominating this person for the award.

A candidate for the award would be someone who has shown;

a. leadership in library associations at the local, regional, and
provincial levels;
b. contributions to the development, application and utilization of
library services and library systems;
or, c. significant contributions to library literature.

Names of persons previously nominated but not chosen may be resubmitted.

To recommend someone for the award, please send your nomination along
with documentation of the nominee's achievements to Allan Groen at the
address below.

The deadline for nominations has been extended to March 31.
