INFORMATION CENTER SPECIALIST II
Temporary Term Position
August 22, 2005 to April 29, 2006

Full time 35 hours per week

0.5 Springhill Jr./Sr. High School/0.5 Oxford Regional High School

The Information Center Specialist II will be responsible for providing
clerical and technical duties associated with the provision of
circulation, catalogue and references services to the School Information
Centres in accordance with regional policies and procedures.  A job

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Grade 12 or equivalent and a Library and Information Technology Diploma
from a recognized training program or equivalent.  [This does not preclude
the employer from determining that other combinations of education and/or
experience are equivalent.]

In addition, the employer will select the most qualified candidate as per
the requirements of the collective agreement, which set out that
"*selection shall be made upon the objective criteria of experience, job
performance, ability, qualification and attitude".  Applicants who are to

interview process.

Salary: As per NSGEU Contract

Start Date: Monday, August 22, 2005

Closing Date: Noon,  Wednesday, July 6, 2005
