Several of us would like to launch a monthly, informal gathering of LIS
practitioners and educators, to discuss matters of mutual concern and
interest.  The first of these will be this Thursday in the University Club
at Dalhousie, in the Earl of Dalhousie Pub (downstairs).  We plan to meet
from 5.30 to 7.00 p.m. and hope that some of you will join us there.  We
will not usually require an RSVP, but for this first time would you please
