What impact will the retirement of baby boomers have on your library? How can you get boomers and Xers to work together? How will staff planning help to ensure that your library will have the skilled and trained people it needs when it needs them? What are your responsibilities as an organization and as an individual for succession and staff planning?
Vicki Whitmell of Whitmell and Associates is the editor of an upcoming book on succession and staff planning and she has recently completed a country-wide project on staff and succession planning in Australia. She will present an audio conference on "Staff Planning During a Time of Demographic Turmoil" on March 22nd.
