Abstract:
What role do libraries play in the 21st century learning process, a process that
includes academic learning, community development and personal growth? Methods
of access to multiple formats of information, from manuscripts to digital
objects have converged and one-stop searching is expected by many users. What
are the implications of this convergence for Canada’s libraries? Ian Wilson and
Stephen Abram are uniquely placed to address this critical issue and to foster
discussion amongst information professionals and learners of all types.
LECTURE IS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AT "NO CHARGE." ALL ARE WELCOME
