The successful candidate will coordinate CCRSB school library services
developed around the centralized services model.

Minimum Qualifications:
*   Master of Library Science from an accredited library school;
*   Experience with supervision of librarians and library technicians;
*   Managerial experience in public or post secondary libraries;
*   Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
*   Ability to work independently in a leadership role;
*   Knowledge of integrated library systems and applicable library
               software used in derivative cataloguing;
*   Knowledge of each working unit in a library (acquisitions,
               cataloguing, circulation, interlibrary loans, collection
               development, reference work, information literacy);
*   Skills in team building.


Terms of Employment:
Conditions of service shall be those set out by the Board for managerial
staff.


Start Date:     Immediately

Closing Date:       NOON, Tuesday October 12, 2004
