The Information Center Specialist will be responsible for organizing,
planning and managing the School Information Centres within designated
schools. A job description is available on the website.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Master of Library Science from an accredited library school.
Professional experience would be an asset. [This does not preclude the
employer from determining that other combinations of education and/or
experience are equivalent, which may include a Library and Information
Technology Diploma]
In addition, the employer will select the most qualified candidate as per
the requirements of the collective agreement, which set out that
"?selection shall be made upon the objective criteria of experience, job
performance, ability, qualification and attitude". Applicants who are to
be interviewed will be provided a full job description prior to the
interview process.
Salary: As per NSGEU Contract
Start Date: Monday, August 23, 2004
Closing Date: Noon, Friday, July 16, 2004

The Information Center Specialist II will be responsible for providing
clerical and technical duties associated with the provision of
circulation, catalogue and references services to the School Information
Centres in accordance with regional policies and procedures. A job

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Grade 12 or equivalent and a Library and Information Technology Diploma
from a recognized training program or equivalent. [This does not preclude
