Some of you may be aware of Jakob Nielsen's web site rating analysis
postings. I thought his recent Ten Best Government Intranets might be of
interest to some of you (Canada is included).

This rating process raises questions about the state of our own provincial
government web sites, as well as various other public institutional web
sites (including libraries).

Two of Nielsen's communication centered themes emerge as key practices for
the best sites: support of content producers and support for user's
