New Online Continuing Education Offering from Dalhousie University's School of
Library and Information Studies
Users and Services
Practitioners at all levels are invited to join a new continuing education
(CE) initiative at SLIS. Come learn with us, interact with our MLIS students,
and share your knowledge and experience!
CE learners are welcome to enroll in modules of this SLIS online course. An
interest in the topic is all that is required - no previous formal diplomas or

Participants may enroll in one or more modules. Fees for each module cover the
selected Module itself, a course-pack of readings, a related exercise, and
access to Module 1 (History and Definition of User Services) in addition to
the online discussion of specific user groups.
