Dear APLA-list,
I am pleased to report that I received enough show of interest from members
for the APLA Program Committee to continue planning to mount a cataloguing
workshop in connection with and overlapping with the APLA Conference which
will take place in Moncton 27 to 30 May 2004.  The Basic Serials
Cataloguing Workshop, a two-day course, will have take place on Thursday 27
and Friday 28 May.  Further information about the Serials Cataloguing
Cooperative Training Program may be gleaned from the web site,

The workshop will be taught and lead by Peter Glenister with one
other.  Cost for participants will be about $70.  More information will be
forthcoming with the registartion package.  I have the names of those who
have already expressed interest, but if there are others, please notify me
