Patrick Power Library seeks an experienced archival assistant for a full
time, nine-month contract position, with a possibility of renewal. The
successful applicant will report to the Librarian Archives, Special
Collections, and Records. The candidate will be responsible for archival
research and reference, assisting in the processing of university theses,
assisting in the day-to-day operations of the archives, the records
management program, and marketing and promotion.

The successful candidate must possess a university degree with one year's
experience in an archives or records management environment, a good
working knowledge of archival principles, and strong communication and
interpersonal skills. Experience in an academic library and/or completion
of archival program would be an asset.
