The International Relations Committee of the Black Caucus of the American
Library Association (BCALA)is exploring the possibility of a meeting
and/or reception with Black Canadian librarians at the upcoming joint
CLA/ALA conference in Toronto. It is our hope that such a gathering will
further promote cooperation and collaboration with librarians throughout
the African diaspora.

We are currently seeking a contact to assist with identifying comparable
organizations in Canada, as well as to assist with logistics, tours, etc.
Norman Horrocks, a longtime associate with BCALA, forwarded your name to
us.
