OUR OPPORTUNITY: You will provide assistance for the day to day
operation of the Campus Library, under the general direction and
supervision of the Library Technician. You will open and sort mail,
check in periodicals, provide a document delivery service, prepare
orders, circulate Library material and register patrons into Novanet.
You will also answer routine reference questions, provide assistance to
users in finding items using the online catalogue or using the Libraries
resources, including the Internet.
YOUR CREDENTIALS: You have a high school diploma or recognized
equivalent, along with a minimum of two years experience in a library
environment. You are proficient in Internet searching and possess a
significant level of computer literacy. You thrive in a demanding,
fast-paced environment and possess exceptional client skills. You are a
creative self-starter with a strong work ethic and a commitment to
excellence.
