It is with great regret that the APLA executive has accepted
the resignation of Marnie MacGillivrary, treasurer for APLA.
Her resignation is effective November 15, 2002.

Marnie has accepted a position as librarian with the
National Energy Board in Calgary, AB.

Marnie has been APLA Treasurer since May 2001. She has
served APLA in this demanding position with dedication,
enthusiasm and good humour. Marnie also took over the job of
APLA webpage editor and was instrumental in managing the
discount registration fee for Atlantic Canadians attending
CLA/APLA 2002 in Halifax.

We wish Marnie well in her new position and hope that she
holds a warm memory of her work with APLA and the library
community in Atlantic Canada.
