position of Chief Librarian at the Confederation Centre Public Library.

As the job ad states, the purpose of this position is to provide
professional library leadership and management for services and staff of
the Confederation Centre Public Library including the Children's
Department and the Government Services Library using a community based
consultative model. This involves developing, implementing and
evaluating goals, objectives, programs and services in order to fill the
needs of the general public and specialized clients such as ethnic
communities, the visually impaired and government employees. This
position is also part of the province-wide library services management
team of the Provincial Library Service.

I've been acting in this position several days a week for the past
