This is a reminder of the upcoming two-day conference,
³Facing the Challenges of an Aging Workforce: Succession
Planning Strategies for
Libraries and Information Management Organizations² designed
for everyone who is interested in and concerned about those
who work in our libraries now and in the future. It will be
held at the University of Toronto on November 22 and 23,

The conference will focus on how both large and small
libraries can best identify the issues related to an aging
workforce, set appropriate short and long term strategies to
attract and retain staff, assist employees to meet their
individual needs and ensure that a properly trained and
adequate number of workers will be available in the future.
