Position:  LIBRARY SUPPORT II - Vaughan Memorial Library
Available:    Immediately
Employee Group Service Employees International Union (SEIU), Local 902
Grade/Salary:  SEIU Grade 6;  Salary Range: $26,247 - $27,777 per annum (New
employees start at $26,247 per annum)
Duties:    Current Assignment: Access Services - Internal (Circulation)
                 ·          carry out a variety of service and processing
tasks in the Access Services Unit
                 ·          provide services using complex computer systems,
specifically SIRSI
                 ·          may work on project teams
                 ·          in addition, may carry out other
responsibilities as required

 Qualifications:    Library Technician Diploma preferred; a combination of
related training and work
                             experience may be considered
                 ·          Bachelor Degree an asset
                 ·          strong communication and interpersonal skills
with a demonstrated ability to work
                            within a collaborative environment
                 ·          proven experience with microcomputer
applications
                 ·          able to work flexible hours
