The Information Center Specialist II will be responsible for providing clerical and technical duties associated with the provision of circulation, catalogue and references services to a School Library Information Centre in accordance with regional policies and procedures. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
This position requires candidates to have:
Grade 12 or equivalent and a library technician certification from a recognized training program or equivalent. (This does not preclude the employer from determining that other combinations of education and/or experience are equivalent).
In addition, the employer will select the most qualified candidate as per the requirements of the collective agreement, which set out that "*selection shall be made upon the objective criteria of experience, job performance, ability, qualification and attitude". Applicants who are to be interviewed will be provided a full job description prior to the interview process.
Salary: As per NSGEU Contract
Start Date: Immediately
