JOB TITLE: Project Coordinator, Family Literacy Research Project
LOCATION: Truro
DUTIES: Under the supervision of the Administrator of Youth Services,
Colchester - East Hants Regional Library, the successful candidate will
coordinate a Family Literacy Advisory Committee, research programs that
focus on family literacy, produce a good standards in family literacy
document, and develop an action plan to advance family literacy in Nova
Scotia.
QUALIFICATIONS: A University Degree or an equivalent combination of
relevant post secondary studies and related experience. He/She will have
extensive knowledge/experience in research and knowledge of adult/family
learning programs, principles, and issues. Must have exceptional ability
in the following: writing, interview, and communication skills, ability to
work within time frame and project guidelines. Strong computer skills are
required.
DURATION: 40 weeks
RATE: 20.00/hr, 35 hrs./wk
CLOSING: September 28th, 5:00 pm
