NOTICE RE RESOLUTIONS

As the APLA OGM will be held in one session scheduled for 3:15 on
Thursday, June 20, there will be no opportunity to announce either a
Pre-resolution session or a Resolutions session at the OGM. Resolutions
concerning the policies and practices of the Association can be submitted
to Elaine MacLean, Convener of the Resolutions, prior to the conference or
to the APLA desk which will be setup during the conference. The latest
time the Resolutions Committee will receive resolutions is 1:00 on
Thursday, June 20. There will be a notice at this desk indicating the
place for the Resolution session, which will take place at 1:30, Thursday,
June 20.

Resolutions affecting the policy of the Association may come from
committees, interest groups, workshops or any member of the association.
To be eligible for consideration as a resolution, each resolution must
conform to the following conditions:

a. Each resolution must be moved and seconded by personal members of the
Association whose memberships are current at the time of the meeting.

b. All resolutions must be submitted, in writing (signed by the mover and
seconder).

c. Members moving or seconding resolutions must ensure that either the
mover or seconder attend the resolutions session.
